Since 2006, I've been doing a "Year in Review" writing exercise.  It started as a random meme that I did on a whim.  I now am glad that I started it and plan on continuing this annual exercise.  Starting this year, I will do look ahead to the upcoming year.

I usually do a different "Year in Review" questionairre, which is what I started doing initially. But then I felt that it wasn't as encompassing as I wanted. So, I did some searching and found another questionaire that I incorporated with the one I've been doing.

This New Years Eve, I found myself questioning many things.

Why is January 1 always associated with new beginnings and new resolutions?  Wouldn't a better day for this be your birthday?  I suppose it's generally easier to hit the public at once with a time for new resolutions.  How would you promote the exercise on a day to day basis for birthdays?

... and after approx. 6 months of vigilance, I impulsively fed my habit last night. Man, did it feel good! Spent much more than I'd expected. I didn't expect to spend this much on the habit until after I graduated. Oh, well.
